Global manufacturer of precision equipment has an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and service and has captured considerable market share. This specialist sales role is selling capital equipment and the associated consumables and spares into engineering, scientific, electronics and life sciences.

This is an internally based technical sales role which requires travel across the UK and will involve staying away from home approximately 4 to 5 nights per month. This is a highly technical and sometimes complex sales role that is ideal for a sales professional that enjoys solution selling and ideally is qualified to HNC or above level in engineering, electronics or a similar engineering discipline. Whilst leads are generated for you by both marketing and the lead generation team this is very much a sales role and involves fully understanding the client's needs and following up and managing pipeline to secure the sales.

With responsibility for the full sales cycle you will proactively manage and develop the existing account base as well as secure new business. The role is hugely varied and technically complex; ideal for an individual that is technically inquisitive and enjoys the solution aspects of technical sales.
Ideally you will be educated to HNC level within engineering, electronics or an aligned discipline or alternatively have worked through an engineering apprenticeship before progressing into sales.

As a sales person you will be customer service oriented, enthusiastic, passionate and a team player.
