Temporary Health and Fitness Consultant, Health and Wellbeing Screening, Field based role
For 7 working days in September and October. £75 per day and the potential for future contracts (and possibly permanent employment). Fantastic opportunity for a customer service oriented and flexible person that is dedicated to Health and Wellbeing. Having recently won a major contract across East Anglia the company requires a temporary health screener for 7 working days at the end of September and early October. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a clinical or medical environment. To apply you must have outstanding customer facing skills, a positive and proactive personality and have experience of working in the health or wellbeing industry, perhaps as an alternative health practitioner, osteopath, chiropractor, physiotherapist, dental nurse, hygienist, personal trainer of similar. To succeed you must personally be passionate about health and possess brilliant interpersonal skills.
The dates required are detailed below and dependent on your location could include expensed overnight stays on three nights in Norfolk, Colchester and Basildon.

The role is field based undertaking screenings on client premises across the UK. Therefore you must be a driver and car owner that holds a full UK driving license and is prepared to use your own car in the role.

As a medical screener you will enable individuals to take positive actions on their health. Using a wide range of the latest state-of-the-art medical devices the service provides screening for a comprehensive range of potential health risks. This is a highly varied and rewarding role that requires an exceptional individual that wants to be a key team member of a flourishing business. The business is led by creative entrepreneurs and backed by significant investment together with an excellent marketing and PR machine.
The service provides an accurate picture of a patient's current and future health and helps to keep them performing at their best. Your role is to provide all of the screening and explain both the procedures and results in everyday language. To succeed you must be friendly, warm, reassuring, caring, fun loving, willing to work hard and have a sensitive nature. You must be detail focused, organised, articulate, confident and professional and not bothered by medical procedures (many of the tests are conducted using pin-prick blood tests so you must not be affected by the sight of blood, etc!)
You will naturally be an individual that enjoys building relationships and putting people at ease. As you will see by the description this is not an everyday role and requires a highly communicative and personable individual with an eye for detail.
Ideally you will possess a current First Aid certificate and be prepared to take a background CRB check.
