Graduate Category Manager, Marketing Analyst
Phenomenal opportunity for a graduate with retail experience to join one of the UK's largest retail groups in a Head Office role. With a business, marketing or similar degree you will have at least one years retail experience and be able to demonstrate at interview strong commercial acumen, drive, ambition, solid presentations skills and all round business knowledge. Some exposure to a retail head office environment would be of enormous benefit. In addition a basic understanding of category management and commercial metrics would also be useful.

This is a highly involved and varied role that will expose you to four main areas of a major retailer - category management, marketing and marketing analysis, buying and merchandising. After around a year you will then move into a specialist role in one of these four fields.
The role requires high levels of PC literacy and attention to detail and will involve exposure to taking commercial risk. As the role also involves working with statistics and forecasting you also require at least a GCSE in Maths. The role has occasional main board level contact so you must be a confident, well presented and professional individual with solid communication and presentation skills.
