Account managers invited to collaborate with new device

A new BlackBerry-based sales aid has been designed, with the aim of supporting and motivating people in their sales jobs.

Developed by PHM in conjunction with BlackBerry makers Research in Motion, the new Activ8 device is designed to help sales job teams generate increased sales.

Promising improved operational efficiency, greater access to vital information and low costs, users can enjoy the Activ8 software provided with a BlackBerry smartphone to collaborate and communicate with colleagues.

Peter Hookham-Miller, managing director and founder of PHM Group, commented that the device could be a great way for sales directors to communicate with other executives, removing the threat of "potentially damaging 'Chinese whispers' within organisations".

"It can be used as a sales tool, motivation tool and training tool - and thanks to mobile communications technology - can be accessed and used almost anywhere in the world," he said.

The BlackBerry smartphone was introduced in 2002 and offers mobile telephone, email, web faxing, browsing, text messaging and other facilities.
